We hold a coached session at Pencoed Pool every Friday between 18:00-19:00. Our head coach develops a yearly plan to ensure individual sessions are focused on you receiving the most appropriate training for your needs.

- The club uses Critical Swim Speed and Lane Speed averages to help coaches and individuals ensure they are in the best lane for their abilities – What is CSS

We have a weekly Club Ride leaving from outside Barclays Bank on Bridgend industrial estate at 08:00 during the summer and 08:30 during the winter.
The last Sunday of the month is a Social ride, with the main focus being coffee, cake and conversation:-) Great ride to join if you’re new to cycling in groups. We’ll never leave you behind.
During the summer months we hold a “brick” session starting and finishing outside SAS international on Wednesday evenings at 18:30. The sessions focuses on improving riding in close groups at speed and transitioning to running off the bike. Great session to improve high end speed.
We’re currently investigating options for winter turbo or Watt bike sessions. We will update you here when we have something organised.
Given the number of run clubs within the Bridgend Area we have decided as a club not to offer run training. We would however encourage you to join Bridgend AC or one of the many other running clubs within the Bridgend area.
Although we don’t provide run training we do encourage all club members to help support the Porthcawl Parkrun by joining us on the second Saturday of every month for a ‘Club 5K’. This session is followed by coffee and cake to ensure all athletes are fuelling correctly:-)
Strength and Conditioning
Thanks to One2One Therapy we offer a strength and conditioning class every Monday at their headquarters in Bridgend. The sessions are focused on improving core strength and conditioning, to proactively prevent injuries associated with endurance training.
